The Team

John Hall is General Secretary of the Board of Education and the National Society. He maintains a public profile for the Church in education, manages the whole range of work of the Board and has specific responsibility for the Church Colleges of Higher Education. Peter Ball and Yvonne Criddle manage the work of the National Youth Office, focusing on young adult participation at every level, the training and support of youth officers and workers, and the shaping of policy on work with young people in the Church and the wider community Tel: 0207 898 1506. Diana Murrie is the National Children's Officer. Via the Network of Diocesan Children's Advisers, she offers support, training and resources to clergy and laity in all aspects of work with children in the parish. Tel: 0207 898 1504. Email: [email protected].

Ian Stubbs is National Adviser in Adult Learning. He is an experienced consultant and trainer and focuses on the cultural context of learning and lifelong learning. Tel: 0207 898 1510. Email: [email protected].

Daphne Griffith is Deputy Secretary of the Board and the reference point for advice and support for dioceses and Church schools. She is also the Finance Officer to the Board, setting the annual budget and monitoring expenditure. Tel: 0207 898 1515. Email: [email protected].

Colin Hopkins acts as Secretary to the Church Schools Review Group, and is working with that Group on developing a national policy in relation to Church schools and the associated follow-up work. Tel: 0207 898 1789. Email: [email protected].

David Lankshear is Deputy Secretary to the National Society and Schools Officer to the Board with particular responsibility for school governance and management. Paul Brice is the executive officer responsible for higher education. He provides consultancy, induction, training, conferences, support, liaison and advice for enquirers, chaplains, dioceses, ecumenical partners, colleges and government/educational agencies.
